MOSKVICH 2142 v1.0
This car is based on the AZLK-2142 model, which was designed back in the mid-1980s. The car was supposed to get on the assembly line in 1992, but this did not happen due to the collapse of the USSR. Experimental batches of the car were produced until 1997. In 1997, an elongated model, which received its own name “Prince Vladimir”, a Renault F3R engine and a body lengthened by 20 centimeters, got on the conveyor. In 1999-2000, the body was updated, the spare wheel got a niche in the luggage compartment, the rear wings lost the plug. Since about the spring of 2001, due to problems with components, the car has acquired a simplified interior and a metal radiator grille instead of a plastic one. After the default of 1998, production began to fall, and on November 8, 2001, due to debts, the plant was disconnected from the power grid. Cars were assembled from the remaining parts until about 2002.
