Terrain Re-Work + Added Some Stuff
There’s now 2 main (trophy truck) tracks;
The Red line is rough and unforgiving, mostly wide open spaces with one major ridge to navigate over, theres multiple routes to get over that. In the dunekicker, its still only 5 to 6 mins per lap (*clockwise):(
The Pink line is relatively smooth, mostly flat out. not much to say there.
Added the “Loveshack” Inside you can get “sucky sucky” … so be careful of the edges!! This is by design.
Just to clarify a few things,…
This ultra cool formation is from Mauritania and is known as The Eye Of the Sahara or the Richat structure. I wanted a huge off road ring for multiplayer races and this seemed perfect for the job. I loved the colours too;p In this map, the formation is 1/4 of its real size.
I don’t plan on doing too much to this map, just finishing up the smoothing, terrain paints and I will try “balancing” the lines so they are relatively fair. i.e. the outside line is a massive difference in distance to the inner one, even at this scale, so I will try make it so that its a bit rougher and slower to try and compensate for time advantages in a race.
There will be very few objects/trees/rocks. this is an FPS thing. I was thinking to add just a few things maybe with a sci-fi vibe… There is already one 3D model which I found irresistible so added it.
There is many dunes, a few hill climbs and more dunes!!
Going to start working on full 40km ring asap.
