– Adding a light bar to the roof rack, as well as some general fixes.
Basically, this was Sandstorm’s first attempt at creating an off-road vehicle. They had a lot of experience with engine swaps for the 200BX, as it was a very common vehicle that was replaced with Bruckell engines. So they installed a modified Gavril engine in a crate, made a special elevator kit, and that was really it. They unveiled it at the 1997 Belasco Motor Show, and while Ibishu wasn’t too pleased, the general public received it very favorably. They won a lot of off-road races, and the rest is history.
What it has:
– One-piece body;
– Custom suspension;
– Roamer roof detail;
– Off-road and rally light bars, LED headlights, LED taillights, custom tailgate;
– Custom induction hood (made by JustYourAverageDuck) and fender;
– 4.5-liter V8 with custom sounds, 4.6-liter racing V10;
– Both engines can be turbocharged and/or supercharged;
– Custom skin based on the IRL analog (from Shadows);
– Lots of configs.
