6X6 D-series v1.5
Mod 6X6 D-series v1.5 for BeamNG.drive.
In version 1.5:
– Detected and fixed some problems with hubs with 5 lugs;
– Added several missing tires;
– Corrected pitch size for adjustable gear ratios;
– Other minor bug fixes.
Welcome!!! This is my first *real* mod for BeamNG, I’ve been wanting to create one for a long time. This mod adds two new frames (double cab and single cab) to the D series that have an extra slot for a third axle, with the regular axle moved forward to make room. The frame also allows you to add attachments to it, increasing its versatility. I’ve used stock BeamNG parts as much as possible to reduce the file size and keep the mod “simple”.
It’s still under development, so some part configurations may break beams / behave oddly, but overall I think it’s solid enough to be considered a release.
This mod should fit well with just about any other mod, but keep in mind that non-standard wheels/tires will not be available on the third axle. Also, the third axle is a bit more limited in what wheels can be added at the moment (6 tabs, HD 8 tabs), but there are plans to add more in the future.
